TRS Tukmaria are premium basil seeds, also known as tukmaria or sabja, carefully cleaned and packed to preserve freshness. The small black seeds swell into a soft, translucent, jelly-like coating when soaked in liquid, making them a popular ingredient in South Asian and Middle Eastern drinks and desserts such as falooda, sherbets and chilled beverages. Naturally gluten-free and shelf-stable when stored in a cool, dry place, tukmaria adds a pleasant, cooling texture and provides soluble fiber that contributes to a feeling of fullness. The seeds are neutral in flavor, so they blend easily into milkshakes, lemon drinks, smoothies and puddings without altering taste.

To use TRS Tukmaria, rinse the seeds if you wish, then soak them in water, milk or juice until they swell and form a gelatinous coating — usually about 10–15 minutes. A general guide is to use roughly one teaspoon of seeds per cup (about 200–250 ml) of liquid, adjusting to the desired texture. Once soaked, stir them into drinks or desserts; they are best added to chilled preparations. Not recommended for infants or for anyone who has difficulty swallowing. Store unused seeds in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
