Rabeena Dry Chilli are whole dried red chili pods made from ripe chilies, concentrated by drying to preserve their flavor, aroma and heat while extending shelf life. They deliver vivid red color and a clean, long-lasting spiciness that enhances curries, dals, soups, sauces, pickles and marinades. The heat comes from capsaicin, the natural compound in chilies, and dried chilies also retain provitamin A (beta‑carotene) and other antioxidant compounds, though drying reduces vitamin C. Depending on how they are used—whole, toasted, crushed or ground—dried chilies can lend smoky, fruity or sharp hot notes to dishes and are a staple in many Indian and international cuisines.

To use, wipe off dust or give a quick rinse and pat dry; for pastes or sauces, soak the chilies in hot water for 10–20 minutes to rehydrate before blending. To deepen flavor, dry-roast whole chilies briefly on low heat or fry in oil until they release aroma, then crush or grind as needed. Remove seeds and membranes to lower heat, or keep them for maximum spiciness. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place to preserve color and flavor, and avoid contact with eyes or sensitive skin when handling—wash hands thoroughly after use and keep out of reach of children.
