Elefant Chapatti Atta is a premium whole wheat flour milled for everyday Indian flatbreads. It has a smooth, fine texture that mixes easily into dough and produces soft, pliable chapattis with a pleasant wheat aroma and consistent color. Suitable for rotis, parathas, poori and other flatbreads, this atta retains the natural nutrients found in whole wheat, including complex carbohydrates, dietary fiber, protein and B vitamins, making it a wholesome choice for regular meals. Packaged to preserve freshness, it should be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
To use, place the desired amount of atta in a bowl and add water gradually while mixing until the flour comes together; for guidance, start with about 3/4 to 1 cup of water for every 2 cups of atta and adjust as needed. Knead the mixture into a soft, smooth dough for about 5–10 minutes, then cover and let it rest for 15–30 minutes. Divide the dough into equal portions, roll each portion into a thin circle on a lightly floured surface, and cook on a hot tava or skillet for about 30–60 seconds on each side until light brown spots appear and the chapatti puffs slightly. Brush with ghee or oil if desired and serve hot.
