Annam Gingelly Oil (Sesame Oil) is a natural edible oil extracted from sesame seeds, appreciated for its mild nutty flavor and golden color and traditionally used in Indian cooking and wellness practices. Depending on processing, gingelly oil can have a more pronounced toasted aroma (when made from roasted seeds) or a lighter flavor (when cold-pressed from untoasted seeds).
